What’s the Hawks Hype Team? The Hawks Hype Team is a group of energetic, loud, rowdy kiddos that spread Hays Hawks football spirit by encouraging everyone to jump to their feet and cheer! At home games, the Hawks Hype Team will run through the giant Hays Hawk onto the field, high-five the football players, and then run all the way across the football field!

Who can participate? Students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade may join the Hawks Hype Team.

How do I sign up? Pay for the appropriate number of students here, and then REGISTER EACH student using the online form (
CLICK HERE). Cost is $30 per student, and includes a custom HAWKS HYPE t-shirt! (These funds support the Hays Athletic Booster Club senior scholarships and other HABC support of all athletes.) *Shirt pick-up will occur at the Hays HS varsity home games. Shirts will not be mailed or shipped.*

When does the HAWKS Hype Team take flight? You’ll find the Hype at Hays HS varsity home football games. This season there are 5 home games: Thursday - August 28, Friday - September 19, Friday - October 10, Thursday - October 23, and Friday - November 7.
*All HAWKS HYPE TEAM members must purchase a ticket to the football game and must be accompanied by an adult into the game. Adults will also need to purchase a ticket for the game. All tickets must be purchased online in advance here: https://www.hayscisd.net/boxoffice
Walk up registrations are accepted, but shirt size cannot be guaranteed.
Drop-off time and other information will be sent out the week of August 25 to registered members.
The Hays Hawks Hype Team program is coordinated by the Hays Athletics Booster Club (www.haysathleticboosterclub.com).
